It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Even if you prefer summer to winter, we have to admit: there’s something special about the holidays. It’s cozy. There’s hot chocolate and music that you remember from your childhood. All the twinkle lights alone are enough to lift a mood. Plus, pie is good!
So, at Butcher’s, we’re right there with you, getting ready to celebrate through the new year. We have most everything you need for interior–and exterior–decorating, entertaining, and enjoyment of seasonal fare.As far as decorations so, we have fresh greens, wreaths, and pine roping. As we said before, this stuff is natural, compostable, and smells terrific. Imagine what you could do to your mantle or front porch! And we have beautiful poinsettias in your favorite palette of poinsettia colors! (Just remember: keep these away from your pets.)If you’re more in the market for entertaining and already have your decorating done, allow us to offer you our baking specialties: we have all kinds of cookies, cookies, and more cookies. Not to mention pies, cakes, and other seasonal treats. (Fudge!) Simply pair any of those desserts with any one of Butcher’s fresh soups, quiches, or casseroles, and you have yourself a meal–or you’re a little closer, anyway. (One less thing!)And, if all your in the mood for is a little holiday enjoyment, stop by the market, say hello, and pick up some of the hearty, late fall vegetables that make lunches and dinners so easy and delicious. Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and brussels sprouts–all fresh from the farm–a coleslaw salad or broccoli rice casserole come together easily and travel well, so there will be no worries about what to bring to a potluck or make for lunches... for a few days anyway...Speaking of potlucks, if you need a hostess gift for a more formal get together or just to say Happy Holidays, Butcher’s *custom* gift baskets make gift-giving easy and personalized.
